Due to the pandemic in 2020, I moved my practice to telehealth/video therapy exclusively through a HIPAA compliant practice system and client portal. Prior to scheduling your first appointment, I will send you a link to the portal where you can complete and sign your forms online and review my practice documents. The system will send you a private link prior to each session and appointment reminders will be provided upon request. At the time of your appointment, please make sure that you have a strong internet connection, your microphone and camera are working, and you are situated in a quiet/private space where you are free of distractions for the best therapeutic experience. When you are ready to join, click on the link and you will arrive at a virtual waiting room where I will greet you on video.

P a y m e n t s  &   S e s s i o n   R e m i n d e r s  

Payment is due at the time of service and is paid online automatically through the portal for each service via a debit/credit card that you will provide during client registration. I need to conduct my practice in this way to streamline the process of our work together. Clients provide the feedback that email and text reminders for sessions are very helpful at keeping their appointments. Let's discuss if you would like to opt out of these. If you would prefer a voicemail reminder, please let me know. Should you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, I ask that you give me at least 48 hours of notice ahead of time. Appointments cancelled inside of a 48-hour window will be charged a full session fee. Thanks in advance for your understanding of these practice policies.
